We visited a small mall by the name 1 Mont’ Kiara. We feel hungry so we decided to have lunch here and we choose Menya Kamikaze. It is not just an ordinary ramen joint. You guys if you haven’t try out their ramen, you should do so.
Kamikaze Ramen in Aka flavour, chilli flavoured oil soup based. It serve with three pieces of roasted pork, ajitama egg, spring onion, seaweed and bamboo shoots. You will love this if you love chilli and spicy flavour.
After spending a day in Genting, we have late lunch around 2pm. So we didn’t really feel hungry and so we decided to go for dessert. And we choose Mykori Dessert Cafe in Setapak. It took us awhile to get there due to the heavy traffic.
Surprisingly it was full of patrons and we have to wait for a while before we can get our table. It took a while for the staff to clear and clean our table.
Melon Kakigori was nice but the melon they use wasn’t sweet enough. Or maybe the melon they use today wasn’t sweet enough. Disappointed because it wasn’t as good as I was told. Maybe I got higher expectation.
Triple Chocoreo Toast was nice but the toast a bit disappointing. Crispy outside but it wasn’t the best toast. For the ice cream we choose Thai Tea and Dark Chocolate flavour. Honestly, we love the Thai Tea flavour a lot.
I was with my wife and a friend visiting Genting Highlands. We haven’t visit Genting Highlands for a very very long time. My wife was very excited and so am I. Lucky our friend show us around Genting. There are so many changes in Genting Highlands.
Nasi Lemak with Spicy Fried Chicken and Nasi Lemak with Cockles was serve in big portion. Bigger than normal portion that a lady could take but perfectly enough for men. They couldn’t finish it so I have to help them finish it.
Warm Heart Burger serve with fries. Unfortunately the fries was already cold when the burger was cooked. Cheese was perfectly melting within the beef patty. The bun they use was special than normal bun we usually ate.
Hin Kee Bak Kut Teh Restaurant was another popular bak kut teh hotspot in Kuala Lumpur. So we decided to give it a visit to try out their bak kut teh.
We miss the dry Bak Kut Teh a lot so we decided to order their dry Bak Kut Teh. We order the one person portion but it look like a two person portion. Lucky there are three of us and three of us choose to go with their oily rice. Honestly there are nothing special about their rice. Kinda disappointed.
However, they are very generous with the number of meats. They use very little dried squids. You really can’t taste the dried squids at all.
Bak Kut Teh Soup was totally disappointed. At first, with all the crowds I expecting it was very delicious but trust me is not. The soup base was too clear and only contain light scent of the Bak Kut Teh. Maybe some people doesn’t like strong taste and scent of Bak Kut Teh.
