We decided to visit one of the cafe near to Esplanade. Friend introduce us to this cafe, so we decide to give it a try. We arrive around 8.30pm and it was difficult to find parking near here. Lucky one car was leaving by time we reach there.
We was greet by the staffs but all table was occupied with patrons. Staffs lead us to the sofa area to have a sit while waiting a couple which they will be leaving soon. After they leave, staffs quicky clear the table for us.
Buu’s Aglio Olio was sauteed with olive oil, garlic, chilli flakes and shitake mushrooms. Topped with cheese and parsley. Spaghetti noodles was not perfectly cooked, slightly under-cooked. And the portion was also slightly smaller than I expected. I tried a bigger portion of aglio olio with the same price in other cafe before. When it serve to our table, my wife already expect I won’t satisfy.
My wife ordered I think is the Indon Style Chicken Breast, which serve with fries. She also complaining that the chicken breast was kinda small piece but lucky it is not oily. As for the fries it was nothing to shout about, very normal.
As for the drinks, we ordered their Honey Milk and Iced Honey Lemon. Both drinks also very disappointed.
If you not here for their meals, I can recommend you guys to come here is a small group to have drinks and chit chat. Nice ambiance and not so noisy.
They open from noon until 10pm at night. You guys can forget about coming here for lunch on weekdays because it was extremely difficult to find parking here even at night.
Overall, staffs was very friendly and nice. Food wise is just below our expectation and price wasn’t very attractive. But we both love the ambiance here.
