Hin Kee Bak Kut Teh Restaurant was another popular bak kut teh hotspot in Kuala Lumpur. So we decided to give it a visit to try out their bak kut teh.
We miss the dry Bak Kut Teh a lot so we decided to order their dry Bak Kut Teh. We order the one person portion but it look like a two person portion. Lucky there are three of us and three of us choose to go with their oily rice. Honestly there are nothing special about their rice. Kinda disappointed.
However, they are very generous with the number of meats. They use very little dried squids. You really can’t taste the dried squids at all.
Bak Kut Teh Soup was totally disappointed. At first, with all the crowds I expecting it was very delicious but trust me is not. The soup base was too clear and only contain light scent of the Bak Kut Teh. Maybe some people doesn’t like strong taste and scent of Bak Kut Teh.
We also ordered their Chai Boey but it was slightly too sweet. Sourness was good enough.
The You CharKuey was not crispy enough. I guess it was not freshly deep fried before it serve to our table.
Parking is not really a big deal here. You can choose to park at AEON and walk over. Hin Kee Bak Kut Teh Restaurant just located a short walking distance from AEON.
