The Hilltop By Thonglor was situated for a spectacular view of Balik Pulau town with superb sunset view. The entrance to the restaurant was located in Anjung Indah.
Fried Water Spinach with Sambal was nothing special except it is very spicy. We was kinda disappointed and it was one of the worst we ever have.
Fried Balitong with Sambal again bring us the disappointment. We was expecting it taste nicer.
Tom Yam Kung was delicious but it only has three small shrimp with some squid, fish meat and mushroom. The shrimp was smaller than we expecting.
The best dish of the night, Salt Egg Squid. Trust me, this is absolutely delicious.
It was a beautiful restaurant on top of the hill. Service is just average and our orders took over 50 minutes for the first dish to serve to our table. It is not acceptable as they keep us waiting for so long with our empty stomach. Salt Egg Squid took another 30 minutes after the first dish. Really hope they can improve on this.
You have to reserve earlier especially on weekend. We was lucky to be able to get a table without earlier booking. I suggest if anyone would like to dine in here to have something light to eat first. I not sure it is due to short of hands in the kitchen or they can’t handle to huge crowd and orders.
They have limited parking space available and someone might blocking your car or you might have to park at Anjung Indah and walk the way up to the restaurant.
