Diamond Restaurant & Seafood Steamboat @ Sungai Ara, Penang

We came here for celebrating Father Day. It was very crowded and lots of car so we have to park far down the road.

Luckily there are two empty tables and so we choose one of the table. They have indoor and outdoor tables, ofcourse indoor have air-conditioning. Indoor was totally fully booked by customers. We place our order and less than 15 minutes, they start to serve it to our table.

Marmite Chicken is pretty normal and nothing fancy decoration on the plate. Although we did order small portion but it was definitely smaller than our expectation.

Sambal Clams is so normal. Nothing special about it but the clams was pretty fresh.

Can’t remember the name of this vegetable. Fried with dry shrimp. Portion was too small for 5 of us.

Teow Chew Steamed Fish and the fish itself over-cooked. Nothing to shout about. One of the worst steamed fish I ever tasted.

Claypot Toufu is was the best dish of the night we have.

They don’t have proper signboard but you won’t miss it because it was just beside the main road Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim. It has the yellow colour banner with the name of the restaurant. They do serve steamboat too.

It was kinda more expensive than what we expect because we order all in small portion. Well, their small portion really a bit smaller than our expectation too. Small portion is more suitable for 3~4 persons.

Make sure you park your car nicely so it won’t block any entrance. It was housing area and the road is narrow.
