Most Penangites might heard of Super Tanker Food Court, which located in Taman Lip Sin off Jalan Sungai Dua. It is about few minutes drive from USM Penang.

Super Tanker Roasted Chicken & Duck Rice is one of the stall inside the Super Tanker Food Court. You won’t miss it because it has the biggest stall. If you haven’t try it, you shouldn’t miss it but don’t expect Hainanese Chicken Rice style.

The roasted chicken and duck is very nice but I personally prefer the char siu and shao rou (roasted pork). And don’t miss out the char siu sauce, very temptation.

They only start business around 3pm onward so remember not to come over during lunch time if you just wanted to taste the delicious roasted chicken rice.

Original Cake was famous with their homemade old-fashion egg sponge cake. They serves 7 flavours such as Original flavour, Almond and Nuts flavor, Cheese flavour, Cranberry flavor, Spurted Chocolate flavour, Banana Milk flavor and Healthy Dried Longan flavour.

My brother bought back two flavours, Cheese and Spurted Chocolate flavour.

The box was simple and nice. As I open the box, the cake look simple but it smell wonderfully. The first bite I take on the Cheese flavor egg sponge cake and I simply falling in love with it. I do keep some in the fridge overnight and it still taste so amazing. Personally, I prefer the fresh bake from oven.

There is a famous burger stall in Batu Maung, which they serve the best fried chicken burger in Penang. They getting wide coverage and spotlight on social media. I wanted to try them a year ago but everytime I went there it was so crowded and I hate to wait too long. And finally on last week, we drop by again during the Puasa month and so we expecting less crowd after buka puasa hour.

Surprisingly we are the first customer of the night. A friend was here a week before me and according to him it was quite crowded and they waited 30 minutes for their burger. We was lucky that they serve us our order within 10 minutes.

I remember one of my friend told me he waited for 2 hours (but it was more than a year ago). The chicken patty is deep fried to golden brown finish with crispy crust on the outside and the meat inside was not too dry. I would say the chicken patty taste almost like KFC’s Zinger Burger but lot nicer and tastier with all the ingredients and sauce.

Here is mine, Charcoal Double Cheese Burger. I love the charcoal bun and it wasn’t as dry as other buns they sell outside. As the first bite, I fell in love with it.
