We decided to spend a calming Sunday at Design Village, located near to Batu Kawan. After spending hours of shopping, we decided to have lunch here and we choose Wendy’s. The last time I ate in Wendy’s was many years ago in KL. Since Wendy’s open their outlets in Penang, I haven’t get the chance to visit them.
Wendy’s serve quality burgers with varieties of choices to choose from their menu. If you tiring of McDonald’s and KFC’s burger, why not try out Wendy’s. A must try choices would be Beefanator, Son Of Beefanator, Dave’s Hot N Juicy and Mushroom Melt Supreme.
Unlike most of the fast food outlets, here you can order your meals from the Order counter and then head over to the Pick-Up counter to pickup your meals. Each receipt was printed with queue number too.
Son Of Beefanator served with beef patty, mayo, ketchup, cheese and crispy chicken strips over the toasted bun. The fries was so called natural-cut fries unlike what McDonald’s or Burger King or KFC served. It was the best fries ever.
Dave’s Hot N Juicy Single served with 100% Australian beef patty, pickles, sweet yellow unions, and tomatoes on the oven-toasted bun. Coleslaw was also nicer than McDonald’s or Burger King or KFC.
One or two things I dislike was this outlet attracted lots of flies and the air filled with cooking smoke. It feels so oily in the air. Hope the management look into this matter.
