Here another beauty product from THE FACE SHOP and it is called Clean Face Spot Corrector. It was very small tube and price is cheap. The essence is gel-like, a bit thick but can easily spread across your skin and absorbs into our skin in few minutes. It has mild-calming scent of tea leaves.
An essence for clearing up acne blemishes and allowing skin to heal faster. An over-night spot eraser that helps fade post-acne marks. From our testing for over 2 months, it only fade a bit of our post-acne marks so we kinda disappointed with the result.
It claims to kills acne-causing ‘p-acne bacteria’ but however it doesn’t work on both me and my wife. The breakout size remains almost the same as the night before. For acne problem, we still prefer Aloe Care which delivers the result effectively. Pricing wise Aloe Care is much expensive but it was also larger tube (75ml) compare to THE FACE SHOP Clean Face Spot Corrector (15ml). If you calculate by the size, Aloe Care definitely much worth it. If you compare the effectiveness, Aloe Care is much more effective on fighting my pimples and acne problem.
Visited Sushi Tei with my family for lunch and they been well known with their sashimi. They have private room for more privacy or if you wish to have more executive feel. Seating area is quite spacious. If you love to sit at the sushi bar also you’re welcome to do so too.
We have two fried noodles and they both taste wonderfully. The noodles was well stir fried into perfection without under or over-cooked. I dislike noodles which under or over-cooked.
Well, it was Mother Day and so my dear wife wanted to surprise my mom-in-law with a nice Thai food dinner. We went back to her hometown, Sungai Petani. We had lunch together at home as my mom-in-law cooking bee hoon soup.
Around 6.30pm, everyone is hungry and we heading down to a newly open Thai restaurant called Thai Lotus Restaurant. It was packed with crowd coming here to have dinner and celebrate Mother Day. Lucky there is two tables left and we quickly sat down on one of the table. Flipping thru the menu and we start ordering.
Here is the Deep Fried Squid with Salted Egg but it wasn’t so nice as I would expected. Doesn’t have the strong fragrance of the salted egg but atleast it is crunchy and not over-fried it.
Tom Yam Seafood was spicy and sour that always work fantastic as appetizer. The Tom Yam Seafood filled with shrimps, fish meats and squid. You can taste the scents of the lemongrass, tomato, chili, galangal, lime leaves and I believe they use some creamer powder or creamer rather than coconut milk.
This is the most visited kopitiam whenever I want to grab the taste of Penang White Curry Mee. I have been eating it for over 20 years and until now I still visited them. If you look at the selling price don’t be surprise the portion was smaller than you could expected. I recommended to go for big bowl.
Normally, it came with prawn, cockle, bean curd puffs and pig blood curd.
But I dislike cockle and pig blood curd. So every time I order mine is without cockle and pig blood curd or I gave them to my wife or friends.
I stay in Macallum Street many year ago and every Monday night, a night market will be open from 7.00pm to 11.00pm. Char Kueh Kak was of the best food around the night market and also my favourite. Char Kueh Kak aka Fried Rice Cake is popular dish in Penang. Char Kueh Kak is fried on a huge flat pan, with dark soy sauce, chopped chai poh, bean sprouts, egg (chicken or duck), chili paste, Chinese chives and some also include seafood such as shrimps and crab meat.
Unfortunately, after so many years the taste and fragrance wasn’t as good as the old time. So disappointed. It was a bit too dry and it no longer have the strong fragrance. The deep fried pork lard also not so crunchy anymore.
