Prachak Pet Yang is very well-known Chinese-style roasted duck in Bangkok. I would say it was the best roasted duck I tasted in Bangkok. They start selling the roasted duck for more than a century, since 1909. They are roasted in mangrove wood coal oven.
Their roasted duck meat was perfectly roasted with crispy skin and soft meat, filled with aromatic smell. If you not interested in their roasted duck rice, you can simply choose from their varieties choice. The price is also very reasonable.
They also interviewed by many newspaper and magazine before. So you can assure that you getting the best roasted duck and meats.
Look at those yummy roasted duck. Their wonton also one of the best. I was so surprise with the texture of the egg noodles was so quite chewing (very Q) and it doesn’t has the weird smell like some egg noodles. I must say they cook the egg noodles into perfection, without over-cooked or under-cooked issue.
Interior of the restaurant was very old but surprisingly it is quite clean. It is non-halal restaurant as they also selling roasted pork.
It would be difficult to find parking here so I suggest that you take tuk-tuk, taxi or walk here (via Saphan Taksin BTS Skytrain station). If you taking BTS, get down at Saphan Taksin BTS Station and exit at Exit #3.
