A small town of Kedah, Sungai Petani lies the gem of Japanese cuisine. It was one of the best Japanese cuisine restaurant in Sungai Petani I ever visited.
Edo Ichi Sushi is easy to locate which it situated within the Village Mall. It was between Starbuck Coffee and Secret Recipe. Just like other Japanese sushi restaurant, there is sushi bar.
Garlic fried rice was strongly recommended if you enjoy the scent of garlic. I enjoying very much the Salmon Sushi with Teriyaki sauce and I tell you it taste wonderfully. Personally, it taste a lot better than Sushi King and Sakae Sushi.
Another delicious fried rice introduced by the waitress, Hotate Chanan (Scallop Fried Rice) and the Spicy Soft Shell Crab Karaage was so crunchy and the chili powder provide the spicy taste. But I believe the Spicy Soft Shell Crab Karaage was a bit smaller in portion.
Una Yanagawa Don also taste wonderfully which my wife enjoying them. Tako Sashimi was so fresh and juicy with every slices. My wife always a fan of sashimi.
Mini Sashimi Set just another great set of sashimi for my wife. Every slices of the sashimi is so fresh. Enoki Beef Maki, small bunch of Enoki mushroom is wrapped in a slice of beef and pan fried with a delicious sauce. I recommend you to try it together with Hotate Chanan or Garlic Fried Rice.
Smoked salmon sake and Tuna sushi was good but nothing special to shout about.
Grilled Salmon with Teriyaki sauce also a good match for Hotate Chanan or Garlic Fried Rice. Among all the fried rice, Hotate Chanan or Garlic Fried Rice was the best. So I recommended them to everyone.
