Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Restaurant serves halal-certified dishes from a fine selection of wagyu beef, lamb, seafood and poultry. Ambience was great and definitely a good place for couple or brunch of buddies to hang out with.
My wife spotted the Tofu Chige Soup. Basically it was toufu (tofu) and chicken slices in spicy Kimchi soup serve in hot stone bowl. I can assure you it was very delicious and you can also eat it with plain rice. Strongly recommend this dish.
But I suggest you to finish them while they serve in hot. Because in air-conditioning room, it might turn cold after a while. However, before we could finish the soup and it turn cold. Personally, we prefer hot soup.
The next dish serve was Shabu-Shabu Grill, thinly sliced tender beef. It served with dipping sauce. The marinated beef is sliced so thinly and it even tastes wonderfully without the dipping sauce.
I also ordered their new dish on their menu, Gyu-Kaku Beef Don. Another perfect dish to fill my empty stomach. The egg was perfectly cook to perfection without overcooked the egg.
I surely will be back here next time I visiting Kuala Lumpur. Hope they be opening new branch in Penang soon. Remember to park your car inside with reasonable rate.
